Nickelodeon HD
Nick HD is a high definition simulcast channel from MTV Networks Europe.Nick HD broadcasts the same schedule as the standard definition channel, Nickelodeon. Content is broadcast in high definition where available, or is upscaled where it is not available in high definition.
Broadcasting at a higher bitrate, the picture quality of even upscaled content is improved when compared to the standard definition channel.
How to watch Nickelodeon HD
Nick HD is a subscription channel, which means that it is encrypted and is only available on a Sky HD box with a viewing card that has the HD Pack enabled. Nick HD is included in the HD Pack (currently charged at £10 per month) when you also subscribe to the Children`s Pack.You will find Nickelodeon HD on Sky Guide Channel 604.
History of Nickelodeon HD
Nick HD launched on 5th October 2010.On the 1st February 2011, Nick HD moved to channel 604 from 632 as part of the HD Swap
