ITV4 HD

ITV4 HD is a high definition simulcast channel from ITV.

ITV4 HD broadcasts the same schedule as the standard definition channel, ITV4. Content is broadcast in high definition where available, or is upscaled where it is not available in high definition.

Broadcasting at a higher bitrate, the picture quality of even upscaled content is improved when compared to the standard definition channel.

How to watch ITV4 HD

ITV4 HD is a subscription channel, which means that it is encrypted and is only available on a Sky HD box with a viewing card that has the HD Pack enabled. ITV4 HD is included as a bonus channel when you subscribe to the HD Pack (currently charged at £10 per month).

You will find ITV4 HD on Sky Guide Channel 120.

History of ITV4 HD

ITV4 HD is due to launch on 15th November 2010.

On the 1st February 2011, ITV4 HD moved to channel 120 from 227 as part of the HD Swap
