ITV3 HD

ITV3 HD is a high definition simulcast channel from ITV. ITV3 HD broadcasts the same schedule as the standard definition channel, ITV3. Content is broadcast in high definition where available, or is upscaled where it is not available in high definition. Broadcasting at a higher bitrate, the picture quality of even upscaled content is improved when compared to the standard definition channel.

How to watch ITV3 HD

ITV3 HD is a subscription channel, which means that it is encrypted and is only available on a Sky HD box with a viewing card that has the HD Pack enabled. ITV3 HD is included as a bonus channel when you subscribe to the HD Pack (currently charged at £10 per month).

You will find ITV3 HD on Sky Guide Channel 119.

History of ITV3 HD

ITV3 HD is due to launch on 15th November 2010.

On the 1st February 2011, ITV3 HD moved to channel 119 from 226 as part of the HD Swap
