ITV2 HD

ITV2 HD is a high definition simulcast channel from ITV.

ITV2 HD broadcasts the same schedule as the standard definition channel, ITV2. Content is broadcast in high definition where available, or is upscaled where it is not available in high definition.

Broadcasting at a higher bitrate, the picture quality of even upscaled content is improved when compared to the standard definition channel.

How to watch ITV2 HD

ITV2 HD is a subscription channel, which means that it is encrypted and is only available on a Sky HD box with a viewing card that has the HD Pack enabled. ITV2 HD is included as a bonus channel when you subscribe to the HD Pack (currently charged at £10 per month).

You will find ITV2 HD on Sky Guide Channel 118.

History of ITV2 HD

ITV2 HD launched on 7th October 2010

On the 1st February 2011, ITV2 HD moved to channel 118 from 225 as part of the HD Swap
