History HD

History HD is a dedicated high definition channel from the E&E Television Networks and BSkyB.

How to watch History HD

History HD is a subscription channel, which means that it is encrypted and is only available on a Sky HD box with a viewing card that has the HD Pack enabled. History HD is included in the HD Pack (currently charged at £10 per month) when you also subscribe to the Knowledge Pack.

You will find History HD on Sky Guide Channel 529.

History of History HD

History HD launched on Sky HD on 26th October 2006.

Around the 5th October 2010, History HD was changed to require a subscription to the HD Pack and the Knowledge Pack.

On the 1st February 2011, History HD moved to channel 529 from 545 as part of the HD Swap
