Good Food HD

Good Food HD is a high definition simulcast channel from UKTV network of channels.

Good Food HD broadcasts the same schedule as the standard definition channel, Good Food. Content is broadcast in high definition where available, or is upscaled where it is not available in high definition.

Broadcasting at a higher bitrate, the picture quality of even upscaled content is improved when compared to the standard definition channel.

How to watch Good Food HD

Good Food HD is a subscription channel, which means that it is encrypted and is only available on a Sky HD box with a viewing card that has the HD Pack enabled. Good Food HD is included in the HD Pack (currently charged at £10 per month) when you also subscribe to the Style & Culture Pack.

You will find Good Food HD on Sky Guide Channel 249.

History of Good Food HD

On 31st August 2010, Good Food HD launched on Sky.

Around the 5th October 2010, Good Food HD was changed to require a subscription to the HD Pack and the Style & Culture Pack.

On the 1st February 2011, Good Food HD moved to channel 249 from 283 as part of the HD Swap
